A water leak in the bathroom is one of those situations that goes from bad to worse fast. What looks like a small problem on the surface can soak into walls, subfloor, and framing before you even realize the full extent of it. That's exactly why the demo phase matters so much - it's not just about ripping things out, it's about exposing everything the water touched so nothing gets sealed back up wet.

That's what we were dealing with here. Flooring stripped down to the subfloor, wall sections opened up to expose the framing and plumbing lines, fixtures disconnected and cleared out. Every step of the tear-out done with the restoration end goal in mind. When the space is properly demo'd, the crews coming in behind us can actually do their jobs right.

A lot of homeowners don't realize that sloppy demo creates serious problems down the road. If damaged material gets left behind, or areas aren't fully opened up, moisture gets trapped and mold follows. We take the time to do this part correctly because cutting corners here means paying for it later.

Our interior tear-out work is built around giving restoration teams a clean, safe starting point. Walls opened cleanly to the studs, subfloor exposed, plumbing and electrical accessible. No guessing, no hidden wet material left behind. Just a space that's ready for what comes next.
